Beautiful day ahead Thursday; weekend washout forecast is improving

NEXT: Clouds will increase and gradual cooling to end the work week. Saturday, we are expecting rain showers to move in near the afternoon hours. Not expecting a washout, but enough rain to keep plans indoors during the afternoon/evening hours.

FORECAST:
THURSDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 66 degrees. Lows near 49 degrees. 
FRIDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs around 62 degrees. Lows near 50 degrees. 
SATURDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH -- Cloudy skies with showers developing during the morning. Expect light to moderate rain throughout the day, the steadiest of which will be during the evening and overnight hours. Widespread flooding is NOT anticipated at this time. In fact, rain totals are possibly trending lower (under one inch). We will NOT be able to see the solar eclipse. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows near 50 degrees. 
SUNDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH (for now -- looks to be improving) -- Mostly cloudy with spotty showers lingering. Breaks of sun possible, especially into the afternoon. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows around 48 degrees. 
MONDAY: Partly sunny with a stray shower. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows around 47 degrees.  TUESDAY: Partly sunny with a stray shower. Highs around 58 degrees. Lows around 46 degrees.
