State police say 41-year-old Bernabe Cortez suffered broken bones in her back earlier this month at the Minkus Family Farm on Celery Avenue in Goshen.

A farm worker in Orange County remains hospitalized after being accidentally run over by a truck while picking onions.
State police say 41-year-old Bernabe Cortez suffered broken bones in her back earlier this month at the Minkus Family Farm on Celery Avenue in Goshen.
Authorities say Cortez was bent over and picking onions when the driver backed up, didn’t see her and ran her over.
Cortez is expected to make a full recovery.
Police say no charges will be filed as a result of the incident.
