The grandmother of six Bronx children who were allegedly abducted by their mother is blaming the situation on the Administration for Children?s Services.

Investigators say the mother took the children from the apartment of their grandmother, Marixa Ramos, after a fight. The children were later found in Baltimore.

The children had been taken away from their mother, Madeline, by ACS and placed in foster care after officials at their school say they noticed bruises on one of the children?s legs. Marixa Ramos was given custody after asserting the children were being mistreated and neglected in foster care.

The grandmother says ACS never should have taken the children from their mother in the first place. She says she has not spoken to Madeline since the alleged abduction and that her daughter needs help.
