Thousands of dollars are going toward art programs in the Hudson Valley.

The Brewster Theatre Company and Putnam Arts Council were selected for grants.

Brewster will receive $15,000, and Putnam will get $25,000.

The money will be used for operating and program expenses, creative commissions, and support for rehearsal and studio space.
