Town of Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner has started a petition to replace the Rite Aid that’s about to close on East Hartsdale Avenue.

Hundreds of residents have already expressed disappointment over the closure.

Feiner says seniors who live on the avenue have depended on the store for their essentials for many years.

He has asked the landlord to find a replacement that will offer the community the same items that Rite Aid did.
