Greenwood Lake School District to close Nov. 14 & 15 due to forest fire conditions
Officials say there will be no transportation provided for any resident children of Greenwood Lake to any educational location.

Greenwood Lake School District says it will be closed Thursday, Nov. 14 and Friday, Nov. 15 due to forest fire conditions in the area.
Officials say the closure is part of a planned fire response initiative, and at the directive of an Emergency Declaration.
They say the directive was given based on the expected conditions in the area over the next few days.
The district says there will be no transportation provided for any resident children of Greenwood Lake to any educational location, including ES, MS, Chester Academy, Warwick High, private schools and special education outside placements.
