There's a push across the New York for a campaign to "Invest in Our New York."
Community groups and local leaders gathered in Yonkers to launch the campaign, which asks for $40 billion in funding to benefit and go into neighborhoods like Yonkers.
They say the money would be generated by taxing corporations and the top 1% in New York.
The group is calling on Gov. Kathy Hochul, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and state legislators to hold those making massive profits up to the same standard.
