Throughout the campaign, Astorino pointed to his experience as Westchester County executive, and while he won big in the Hudson Valley, he was unable to capture the vote across the state.

Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino was vying for the Republican nomination in the gubernatorial race, but came in third.
Throughout the campaign, Astorino pointed to his experience as Westchester County executive, and while he won big in the Hudson Valley, he was unable to capture the vote across the state.
He said he is now focused on the election in November.
