Trick-or-treaters in New Windsor will have to keep an eye on the time starting tonight.

A Halloween curfew goes into effect beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, and lasting until 6 a.m. the following morning.

The same curfew hours will apply Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights, as well.

A notice from the town suggests, "The curfew applies to all minors (persons under the age of 18), except those traveling to or from employment, school activity or medial emergency; or those in the company of a parent, guardian or person in locus parentis."
