weapons charges after police found numerous weapons
in his residence.
Hastings police say Jen-chao
Lu, 28, was arrested on Oct. 26 following an
investigation.
Authorities say they recovered eight handguns, eight assault
weapons, multiple high-capacity magazines and several thousand rounds of
ammunition.
Lu was charged with criminal
possession of a weapon and is being held in the county jail.
The investigation was
conducted by several agencies including the New York City Police Department,
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the District Attorney’s
office.
