Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Two teenagers are recovering from a shooting in the City of Poughkeepsie. Police say they found the first victim on South Clinton Street with a gunshot wound to the back Friday evening. A short time later, police found a 17-year-old on Virginia Avenue with a gunshot wound to his leg. The first victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening. The second victim is in critical but stable condition. Police say the suspect took off before they arrived.
Poughkeepsie police are also investigating an armed robbery. They responded to reports of a robbery on North White Street Saturday morning. They say they found several shell casings in the street but didn't find any victims or property damage. A man is facing charges for allegedly possessing a stolen gun in the City of Poughkeepsie. Police say they pulled Andre Gaillard over on Main Street early Sunday morning. They say he had a revolver with him that was reported stolen out of North Carolina. He was taken into custody and is charged with multiple felonies, including criminal possession of a weapon.
