Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Real estate heir Robert Durst, 79, has been hospitalized after contracting COVID-19. His diagnosis coming only two days after the convicted killer was sentenced to life in prison. He was convicted in Los Angeles Superior Court last month of first-degree murder for shooting Susan Berman point-blank in the back of the head at her home in December 2000.
A 13-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by a car Friday night. Police say she was hit while crossing the street on Dustman Lane in Nanuet. She is expected to recover.
Police have arrested Christopher Foxen for allegedly robbing a Chase bank in Greenwood Lake. They say he walked into the bank on Windemere Avenue, pulled out a weapon, and demanded money. The 38-year-old successfully received the money, then fled on foot.
