Here are some stories making headlines
across the Hudson Valley.
Federal agents were in Warwick Tuesday following a
reported tip about a wanted fugitive. The FBI confirmed that they were
responding to a tip that top 10 most-wanted fugitive Eugene Palmer was in the
area. The agents say that Palmer was not in the area as reported. Palmer is
still considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about him is
asked to call 800-CALL-FBI.
A Port Chester man has reunited with his
two teen sons after they made the journey from Guatemala to the Texas border,
fleeing violence and poverty. Antonio, who asked that his full name not be
given, said he was motivated to speak out after seeing photos suggesting that
an army of undocumented children are invading the Hudson Valley. Antoinio says
he hopes his kids will have a better life here.
The
search continues today for two missing dogs that escaped from an Orange County
Pet boarding camp. Biagio Nocerino, of New Rochelle, says he
took his two mixed breeds "Lulu" and "Maggie" up to Pet
Camp in Middletown on Monday.
He says by Tuesday he got a
call from the facility saying the dogs had escaped. The owner of Pet Camp says
the family's smaller dog may have squeezed through the front
gate and escaped, and their bigger dog jumped a
fence to go after him.
