Police say Lacey Maxwell was driving on State Route 9W in Saugerties when she fatally struck a person walking along the shoulder and then drove off. Police say the next day, she and another suspect, Ryan Maxwell, staged a crash to account for the damage sustained from hitting the victim. They have both been remanded to the Ulster County Jail as they await arraignment.

A Kingston man has pleaded guilty to selling drugs in Ulster County, according to the Ulster County District Attorney. State police searched Peter Bonavita's home at 63 Fairview Ave., where investigators say they found fentanyl and a firearm. Bonavita also pleaded guilty to a drug ring conspiracy involving 11 other people in 2023. He will be sentenced on May 4.

A Rockland County man has been arrested in New Jersey in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile. Police say Andrew Villafuerte of Airmont was taken into custody after an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
