The FBI has confirmed that agents were at the Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River Tuesday morning to carry out a law enforcement action. They would not release any other information. Orangetown police say they were aware the FBI was there, but they were not involved nor assisted them. Blue Hill Plaza is an office complex with a variety of tenants.

A raid by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force yielded a large quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine, as well as the arrest of four Poughkeepsie men. Phillip Stephens is facing charges that include criminal possession of a weapon, loaded firearm and criminal possession of a control substance. The three others arrested had felony warrants. Stephens is being held by the Drug Task Force pending his arrangement in City Court. All other suspects were turned over to the agencies that held the warrants of arrest.

Police in Kingston are asking for witnesses to come forward about a recent shots fired incident. They say they got a call about gunshots near Hone and West Pierpont streets around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived, they found shell casings on the ground and bullet holes inside a nearby home. Three projectiles were found in the home. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
