Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Officials are investigating a fire in Rockland County. Rescue crews rushed to West Hickory Street in Hillcrest Monday afternoon, No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire has not been released. 
The brother of a 7-year-old boy who was starved to death in Newburgh is now suing the school district. He says the district failed to notify authorities after he missed months of class. The lawsuit claims the district knew Peter Cuacuas missed online class from 2020 and 2021 but didn't tell Child Protective Services. The boy was just 37 pounds when he died last February. Authorities say he was locked in a room for at least a month.
State police are investigating the death of a maintenance worker at LEGOLAND New York Resort this month. Shane Roy Gunser died on the job Feb. 5. The 33-year-old from Washingtonville was working as LEGOLAND New York Resort's chief hotel maintenance engineer when he passed away. So far, it's not clear how he died or if it was during a work-related incident.
