Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police are searching for the driver in connection to a hit-and-run in Suffern. The incident happened Saturday evening near the intersection of Orange and Lafayette Avenues. Witnesses and friends say the victims are a husband and wife and the couple had just left Suffern's annual Holiday Parade. The couple was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital. News 12 is told the woman suffered a head injury, but there is no word on their conditions this morning.
An investigation is now underway this morning into what may have sparked a fire that destroyed a two family home in Stony Point. The fire started at 11 p.m. Saturday and tore through the house at 14 River Road. All the residents were able to evacuate the house safely, and no injuries have been reported.
Volunteer firefighters quickly put out a fire at the Nanuet Jeep Chrysler Dealership. On Sunday afternoon, the Nanuet, West-Nyack, and Pearl River fire departments responded to flames that breached the roof of the dealership. Officials say nobody was hurt.
