Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
More than a dozen people are homeless this morning, after being forced out by a fire in Ulster County. It happened Sunday morning in Kingston. Flames broke out at a multifamily apartment complex on Washington Avenue in Kingston on Sunday, impacting those inside and others from surrounding buildings. No one was hurt. The Red Cross is currently assisting those impacted by the fire.
Officials are still trying to figure out what caused a garage to catch fire in New Rochelle this weekend on Union Avenue. New Rochelle Fire Department quickly put out the flames. No injuries were reported.
New York State police seized multiple stolen guns from a man on Market Street in Poughkeepsie. The police stopped a car that was suspiciously driving by a social gathering without its headlights on. They say George Delgado was found with two loaded handguns. The Poughkeepsie man was arrested and is facing multiple felony charges.
