The incidents began in May and led to the four arrests in late September.
A Poughkeepsie man is now recovering after being attacked and robbed while walking along Cannon Street on Friday morning. The victim reported that three men approached him, beat him, and stole his belongings before fleeing. Police later arrested Amari Williams, Timothy Greller, and Richard Johnson, all of whom were charged with robbery. Johnson was also wanted out of state in North Carolina on a kidnapping warrant.
New Paltz police are currently investigating a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area of Henry DuBois Drive. Authorities are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables inside. They encourage individuals to contact the police if they observe any suspicious behavior.
