A man is dead after being struck by a Metro-North train. Officials say it happened around 1:15 p.m. in the area of the Harrison train station. News 12 is told the man was on the tracks when he was hit. No other information has been released.
Three teens have been arrested after stealing a car that was allegedly loaded with a gun and drugs. Police say they found a loaded .32-caliber handgun, 10 glassine envelopes of heroin, six small bundles of crack cocaine and 84 pills inside the car. Erik Flakes, 19, of Newburgh, and Austin Raymond, 19, of Port Jervis face felony charges. A 16-year-old boy was charged as a juvenile and released to his mother pending a family court appearance.
Former NBA player and Mount Vernon basketball star Ben Gordon has been arrested again. Police responded to a call about Gordon refusing to leave a store in Stamford, Connecticut Tuesday. Police say Gordon was waving around a knife and resisted arrested. Investigators say they also found brass knuckles, and a stun gun in his backpack. Bond has been set at $10,000. Gordon was arrested last October after hitting his son at LaGuardia Airport, and in December after a fight at a McDonald's in Chicago.
