State police have confirmed that a 14-year-old girl, missing from Rockland's Chestnut Ridge, was fatally struck by a vehicle on The New Jersey Turnpike, near Exit 171 in Montvale, New Jersey. She walked into the vehicle's path, resulting in the fatal accident.

Robert Tompkins from Dover Plains died in a collision as he headed north yesterday, hitting an SUV turning left from Reservoir Road onto Route 22. The SUV driver sustained injuries but is expected to recover.

A Pine Bush man has been sentenced to 10 years for child pornography. Zachary Huebsch, 25, coerced a 12-year-old girl into performing sex acts on a livestream, saved the images, and discussed meeting for further exploitation. Police intervened after the victim's mother discovered the conversations on her phone.
