A Dutchess County teen is dead after drowning in the Taconic State Park in the Town of North East. Officials say two teenagers walked 20 to 30 feet out on to the ice when it broke. One of the teens was able to get to safety and call 911. The second teenager was unable to get out. A dive team rescued the teen and brought him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
