The department says Palmer has been on its most wanted list since April, with a criminal history including reckless endangerment and robbery. Palmer is charged with kidnapping and criminal use of a firearm.
Haverstraw police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men. Police say it's in connection to multiple ongoing criminal mischief investigations. Anyone with information should call the Haverstraw Police Department at (845) 354-1500. All callers will remain anonymous.
A Dutchess County teen is dead after drowning in the Taconic State Park in the Town of North East. Officials say two teenagers walked 20 to 30 feet out on to the ice when it broke. One of the teens was able to get to safety and call 911. The second teenager was unable to get out. A dive team rescued the teen and brought him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
