The State Police along with the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office are investigating a double homicide in the town of Bethel. Police have released no other information. There are reports police are now looking for a grey Nissan in connection with the case. News 12 is told it may be occupied by a man and a woman, and they be armed with a rifle.

A dramatic rescue was caught on camera as Tarrytown first responders saved a woman who jumped into the Hudson River around 10 a.m. Wednesday. They found her struggling in the water about 20 feet off the shoreline bulkhead near the River Walk. Sgts. Chris Caoili and Joseph Barosa and firefighter Scott Weaver worked together to secure her in a harness and pull her to safety. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The officers in the water were also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Hundreds of people displaced after a fire at Seven Pines Tower in Yonkers are looking for a place to live. The Red Cross has been paying for families to stay in some hotels around the city, but they were told they need to be out by today or start paying for the rooms themselves. Many residents still don't know when they will be allowed to go home or where they will go in the meantime.
