Two men are facing charges in connection to three narcotics overdose deaths in Yonkers. The US Attorney’s Office says that Jose Tejada, of Yonkers, and Allen Abisada operated a narcotics delivery service between 2018 and 2020. In Sept. 2019, Abisada allegedly delivered cocaine to three people. Within days, the three people overdosed as the cocaine was allegedly tainted with fentanyl. If convicted, the two men face 20 years to life in prison.
Several cars were robbed from in Newburgh. Neighbors say items were taken from their unlocked cars on Johanna Drive, and it was caught on home surveillance video early Tuesday. Cases have been reported to Newburgh police.
A former Forever 21 employee in Yonkers has pleaded guilty to unlawful surveillance charges. Heriberto Polanco, of the Bronx, admitted to secretly recording women in dressing rooms while he works at Forever 21 at the Cross County Center. Polanco will receive probationary supervision and is required to register as a sex offender.
