Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
One person is dead after being struck by a train in Ulster County on Friday. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office says the train hit the pedestrian on Morton Boulevard in the Town of Ulster. They say a 39-year-old man from Kingston was struck by the train and pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown why the victim was on the tracks.
Police say there was a serious car crash on Railroad Avenue in West Haverstraw late Saturday night. News 12 was told there were multiple injuries, but it was not clear yet how many victims there were or what the status of their conditions were. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
Three men are now behind bars for an alleged home burglary in North Castle. Police say it happened on Lafayette Avenue early Friday morning. Oscar Dario Nino Franco, Andres Felipe Albaracio Rodriguez, and Jonathan Alejandro Cogua Osuna are all charged with second-degree burglary. They are being held in Westchester County Jail on $100,000 bail.
