Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A police chase through Westchester County ended in a crash Monday evening. Officials say it started around 6 p.m. in Rye where authorities say they tried to pull the driver over. The man did not comply but instead continued into Port Chester. Officials say he lost control near Mill Street and then crashed into two parked cars and a pole. Police say the driver then got out and started running, but was later taken into custody. 
A Yonkers couple is facing multiple weapons charges after a traffic stop in Rockland County. State police say they arrested Nicholas and Diana Villanueva on Saturday. During a traffic stop, police say they found several high-capacity magazines and an illegal, loaded firearm in the car they were driving. The couple is due back in court on Oct. 27.
Mount Vernon police are still searching for the gunman who shot 20-year-old Aliyah Waiters in the head on Saturday. Police say it happened at a party near South 3rd Avenue and East 4th Street. She remains in critical condition. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at (914) 665-2510.
