A fire broke out at a home in Rockland County early Sunday morning. Fire officials received a call around 5 a.m. regarding a fire on Western Highway North in Blauvelt. Six departments, including the Orangetown police, responded to the scene. Authorities report that everyone in the home made it out safely.
A garage and car in Kingston were destroyed after a fire early Saturday morning. Crews arrived on East Chester Street to find the garage engulfed in flames. Off-duty personnel and mutual aid departments were called in, and it took just under two hours to extinguish the fire.
Two people were caught on camera allegedly vandalizing a homeowner's garden in Edgemont. The homeowner reports that their garden has been vandalized four times in the past four weeks.
