A man is under arrest after a pursuit on the Saw Mill River Parkway. According to police reports, an officer attempted to stop a white Mercedes SUV for traffic violations just before 11 a.m. on Saturday. When the driver failed to stop, police initiated a pursuit. Eventually, the Mercedes collided with another vehicle and slammed into the center guide rail. The 40-year-old man was arrested, with charges pending.
The identity of the person found dead in an off-road vehicle, which was overturned in the backyard of a Montgomery home, has been disclosed. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Guy Davis from Montgomery. First responders were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, where the victim was pronounced dead.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing girl in Ulster County. Lucy Montuñar, 15, was last seen Friday morning in Kingston. Authorities describe her as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with curly red hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
