Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A man is now facing charges in connection to a shots fired incident at the Middletown Motel on Route 211. Town of Wallkill Police say a utility worker told them he was servicing light poles when 32-year-old Kevin Brown from Middletown pointed a gun at him during a physical fight. Brown allegedly fired two rounds but the victim wasn't hit. Brown faces charges for criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
Yonkers police are searching for a suspect who allegedly followed and robbed two elderly women. The two were coming home from Empire City Casino. The 83 and 86-year- old women were confronted in their driveway on Valentine Street as they were about to exit their car. A man grabbed both women's purses from inside the vehicle.No one was hurt but the man and another suspect drove off in a getaway car.
Peekskill police are looking for the driver who hit an elderly man and took off. They say it happened Monday night near the 1000 block of Howard Street.The 79-year-old victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center. His condition hasn't been released.
