Headlines: Suspects steal running car, shots fired in Hillcrest

Here are some stories making headlines in the Hudson Valley.
Police have arrested two people after a stolen car pursuit in the town of Ramapo. Officers say thieves took off in a car left running outside a Hillcrest store last night. When officers tried to stop the car, it hit a pole in Chestnut Ridge. The identity of the suspects have not been released yet, but police say they both have extensive criminal records.
Two separate incidents are under investigation this morning in Hillcrest. Ramapo police say shots were fired at a home on Dwight Avenue just after midnight on Saturday. They say a second shooting happened Monday around 9 p.m. News 12 is told the structure of the home was hit, but no one was injured.
A routine inspection of the Muscoot Reservoir in Katonah led to the discovery of a car at the bottom and could end up breaking a case in White Plains.
