Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating a shooting that killed a teenager. Police say the 19-year-old was found around Soldiers Memorial Fountain on Market and Montgomery Streets early Saturday morning. Officials tell News 12 he was taken to the hospital and later died during surgery.
Police in Poughkeepsie are also searching for a suspect in a second weekend shooting. This one happened on North White Street near Main Street. A 19-year-old was shot and brought to the hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. It is not known whether the two shootings are related.
A shooting victim is recovering this morning after being shot in the chest in Yonkers. Police say it happened near Livingston Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday. News 12 is told the man is in critical but stable condition at a trauma center. Yonkers police are still searching for a suspect.
