A state trooper was injured when a box truck hit his patrol car in Greenburgh on Tuesday. State police say Michael Geleski, 35, of Fishkill, was operating the Ace Endico food truck out of Wappingers Falls when it hit one of their cars while parked on the shoulder of I-87 around 6 a.m. The trooper inside the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital. Neither Geleski nor the passenger was injured.
Lock up your cars! Police have released RING doorbell video from Stony Point that they say shows an attempted vehicle theft. Haverstraw police say this serves as a reminder to always lock your vehicles and keep your key fobs away from doors and windows, where the signal could be stolen.
