A White Plains home is now destroyed after a two-alarm fire. The people living on Concord Avenue tell News 12 it started in the basement of the home. Firefighters battled heavy smoke, high heat and no visibility. No injuries have been reported.
A Middletown man is facing charges for alleged sexual assault of a minor. State police say the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes received an allegation of an adult man engaging in sexual conduct with a child under 13 years old. An investigation by the center and state police led to the arrest of 28-year-old Trevor Hudson. He's charged with sexual assault against a child, sexual abuse and forcible touching of a child. Hudson is being held in Orange County Jail without bail.
And a major legal victory for a Westchester-based media company. A judge has rejected the WWE's effort to dismiss MLW Media's anti-trust lawsuit. The Mamaroneck-based company accuses WWE of monopolizing the market for professional wrestling media rights by keeping rivals from accessing various distributors and arenas. A lawyer with the company says they look forward to recovering "substantial" damages for the WWE's anti-competitive behavior. The lawsuit began in January of last year.
