Newburgh police are investigating a stabbing that injured a woman at a busy intersection. Authorities say the 59-year-old victim was stabbed in the leg in the parking lot on Route 9W, near Carter Avenue. The woman was treated and released from the hospital.
Peekskill police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a homicide. Police are looking for Walter Bustos-Solis in connection with a stabbing last month. The incident occurred on the 900 block of Main Street. Carlos Rodriguez was found with serious cuts on his lower body and taken to Westchester Medical Center, where he died on Sunday.
A driver was hospitalized after live power lines fell on their car in Mount Kisco. The incident happened Monday on Knowlton Avenue. First responders said the driver was trapped following crashing his car and snapping a utility pole. EMS quickly responded to help the driver. Con Edison remotely deactivated the electricity in the area to prevent further injuries.
