Storm Watch Team meteorologist Craig Allen says Sunday will be very hot, with the heat index reaching 95-100 degrees.
There is also a chance for scattered showers or a thunderstorm during evening hours. Temperatures will then cool off during the week.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance for scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Turning cooler. Low near 60.
MONDAY: Chance of an early shower, then some sun but noticeably cooler.  High 70-75.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 65-70.
WEDNESDAY: Sun giving way to clouds. High again 65-70.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers. Highs 70-75
FRIDAY: A few showers likely.  Highs 70-75
