Firefighters from across the Hudson Valley are joining forces to support the family of their fallen brother.
Rockland firefighters held a countywide Helmet and Boot drive Sunday raising over $100,000 for the family of Jared Lloyd.
More than a dozen fire departments took to the streets or camped outside popular businesses, and 100% of the donations will go to the Lloyd family.
Meanwhile, another fundraising effort for the Lloyd family is also taking off. A GoFundMe page started for the Lloyd’s family last week is now up to over $500,000 from more than 8,000 donors.
