Ulster County is looking to hire 911 dispatchers.

It starts with the trainee exam next offered in 2023. 

After training, you could make a $50,000 - $55,000 starting salary. 

The county's Emergency Communications Center says it answers 63,000 911 calls a year. 

Workers in this position would be the first point of contact, helping people through their worst moments.
