Herricks teacher accused of injecting son's friend with COVID vaccine offered plea deal
A Sea Cliff woman accused of injecting one of her son's friends with a COVID-19 vaccine has been offered a plea deal.
Laura Parker Russo, who teaches in the Herricks Union Free School District, was arrested in January.
Under the agreement, Russo would receive community service and have no criminal record.
If she turns down the deal and is convicted of the felony, she could face up to four years behind bars.
Russo is due back in court next month.
