High Noon issues recall on some products after some Celsius cans were filled with vodka seltzer

The company says that some of these packs are “filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol and are mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink.”

High Noon is recalling two lots of its High Noon Beach Variety 12 packs.

The company says that some of these packs are “filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol and are mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition with a silver top.” The company says that consuming some of these cans would result in “unintentional alcohol ingestion.”

The company says that the recall only impacts the lots shipped to distributors in New York, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. Distributors shipped the products to retailers in New York Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.

“Even if not purchased in a High Noon Beach Variety pack, consumers should be advised to ensure their CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition does not contain the lot codes (L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11), prior to consuming,” a news release from the Food and Drug Administration stated.

The release stated that no illnesses or adverse events have been reported regarding this incident.
