A fire broke out Tuesday at the house of a Rockland family who was already displaced by a fire in December. Contractors were working on the second floor of the house on Kohut Street in Thiells when the fire started. Smoke kept billowing out of the house as firefighters tried to get the fire under control. Officials say fresh lumber seemed to feed the flames and a large portion of the house was gutted. Firefighters say an electrical problem started the fire in December. Police are talking to the contractors to try to figure out what may have started this fire.
