In Ulster County, a homeless man is facing new charges after being arrested for the 20th time.

Tobi Tobin was found by Town of Lloyd police with a stolen Trek mountain bike and a stolen Samsung tablet this past Monday. The 54-year-old was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.

Police suspect Tobin in more than 15 larcenies from unlocked cars throughout the town over the last several weeks. Tobin had previously been arrested on April 20 for criminal trespass and again on April 25 for trespass.

On both occasions, he was released on an appearance ticket due to bail reform.

Tobin, who is currently on parole for grand larceny and has five felony convictions, was arraigned in the Town of Esopus court and sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. He is due in the Town of Lloyd court tomorrow.
