A Fairfield house fire on Saturday night left a family displaced.
Firefighters say a neighbor reported smoke coming from 85 Dogwood Lane just after 8:30 p.m.
The homeowners were away at the time of the fire, only to return and find crews putting out flames.
There were no injuries.
Officials say the house cannot be occupied due to the damage.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known.
