Several groups are trying to help victims of the Wappingers Falls explosion. The Wappingers Falls PBA is continuing to collect monetary donations for the 24 families affected by the two fires that happened within the past three weeks at Brookside and Brick Row. The department made the announcement on their Facebook page early Friday morning, saying there are two ways to donate.

One way to send donations is to pay through the app Venmo. Users can search for the department's account with the username @wappfallspba, or they can scan the QR code leading to the department's profile. The second way to contribute is by donating in person. The police station will be accepting monetary and gift card donations at its communication's window. Wappingers Falls PBA will not be accepting any other donations like food, drinks, clothing and other gifts. In the Facebook post, the department said it will continue to coordinate efforts with all community organizations to assist the families of Brookside and Brick Row, as well as the employees that worked on scene. GoFundMe fundraisers are already being created in support of the victims of Thursday's explosion. In just six hours, one fundraiser already raised almost half of its goal.
