The Mets announced that pitcher Al Leiter, third basemen Howard Johnson, and broadcasters Gary Cohen and Howie Rose will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame.
Longtime Mets public relations executive Jay Horwitz will receive the Mets Hall of Fame Achievement Award.
Johnson was on the 1986 World Series Mets team. He was with the Mets from 1985 to 1993 and later became a coach. Leiter played on the NL pennant-winning team in 2000 that fell short in the Subway Series World Series matchup. He played seven seasons with the club.
Cohen is the longtime play-by-play voice of the Mets on SNY and before that called games for WFAN. Rose has been broadcasting Mets games on radio for 19 seasons.
The induction is planned for Saturday, June 3.
