The Hudson River Museum in Yonkers played host to ballet performances Friday night to help kick off Women's History Month.
The all female-led MorDance dance company presented its performance called "Humanism" at the museum.
Founded in 2014 by professional ballerina Morgan McEwen, the dance company moved its operations from New York City to Yonkers about a month ago.
The performance utilizes the music of composer Johann Sebastian Bach and the spoken words of civil rights activists, including Gloria Steinem, Josephine Baker and Mother Teresa.
The live performance was part of the Hudson River Museum's Free First Fridays series.
