A Wappingers 4th grader has placed second at the "Drive, Chip and Putt" national finals at August National.
Mario Vilardi, a student at Fishkill Plains Elementary School, competed against thousands of other kids for second place. His longest drive was more than 200 yards.
The "Drive, Chip and Putt" competition is one of the top youth golf competitions in the country, taking place at Augusta National as the Masters tournament is underway.
