Hudson Valley is gearing up for the first significant snow of the season.
With four to eight inches expected to blanket the region by midday Friday, local highway crews aren?t taking any chances. The Clarkstown Highway Department is still picking up leaves on the streets as it braces for the snow. Trucks are now being fitted with plows and are being filled with salt in preparation of the impending storm.
Road conditions are expected to be the worse during the morning commute, so residents are urged to use caution while driving.
