Hundreds of new Level 2 electric vehicle chargers are now available across a dozen buildings in Haverstraw, thanks to a major investment from Orange and Rockland Utilities (O&R). The upgrades are part of the utility's $2 million Power-Ready Incentive Program, aimed at making the transition to electric vehicles more affordable.

This project represents the largest e-vehicle initiative within O&R's service area. The new Level 2 chargers allow drivers to fully charge their electric vehicles overnight, making it convenient and cost-effective to embrace electric transportation.

The program offers financial incentives to businesses and multifamily dwellings that install EV charging infrastructure.
