Hudson Valley first responders kick off No Shave November to highlight men’s health

Several departments are taking part starting Nov. 1, including Eastchester PBA.

Hudson Valley first responders are asking for help raising money for men's health through No Shave November.
Several departments are taking part starting Nov. 1, including Eastchester PBA.
Members will grow mustaches and run or walk 60 miles during the month to help raise awareness and funds for research and resources for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, men's mental health and suicide prevention.
The town of Fishkill police are taking part in its third annual No Shave November and Double Down December.
Its goal is 100% participation among officers to collect for Sparrow's Nest, a charity with the primary mission of cooking and delivering homemade meals to families facing a cancer diagnosis in the Hudson Valley.
