A Hudson Valley soon-to-be second time mother was in Washington, D.C. as a special guest for Thursday's State of the Union address.
Traditionally, lawmakers can select guests to attend the address and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) picked Irvington resident Kate Farley. She's the wife of County Legislator David Imamura. Farley is 37 weeks pregnant with her second child by way of IVF.
The senator says he chose her to emphasize the importance of access to IVF and reproductive health care.
